We began marketing the Con-Cure System in the summer of 2001 after many requests from our clients to make our system available to them. Because of our extensive background in actually conducting maturity testing we are well-positioned to help contractors and testing labs correctly and efficiently administer this valuable test method. We are the only manufacturer of concrete maturity testing systems that has actually conducted the test in the field, which means you get the benefit of our wide range of experiences when you use our system.

The Con-Cure System was developed by John Gnaedinger, Sr., who was an SE and PE in Chicago, IL. He was founder of STS Consultants, Ltd., a highly respected geotechnical and foundations engineering firm. It was while at STS that Mr. Gnaedinger first realized the enormous potential of the larger role maturity testing could play in the construction of concrete structures, stemming from his involvement in determining the causes of several construction site disasters. He realized that by using this simple test some of these fatal accidents could have been prevented.

In 1995 the Con-Cure System was first used on several projects by STS, with terrific results. In 1997, Mr. Gnaedinger’s son, John, founded Con-Cure Corporation in St. Louis to begin on-site testing in that market, using the Con-Cure System. Since then, STS and Con-Cure Corp. have conducted tens of thousands of maturity tests, gaining invaluable experience that helped further development of the Con-Cure System and in particular the software and training modules.
Today, the Con-Cure system is alone in the industry in offering the best accuracy as well as comprehensive training and consulting.
