"The Con-Cure Maturity Testing Program has been an invaluable asset to Stevens Construction Corporation’s multistory Post Tension concrete projects. When timing is critical for maintaining your pour schedule, maturity tests insure that you are tensioning cables at the most opportune time. Using Con-Cure Maturity Testing also cuts down on the amount of compressive break tests required, saving money on testing. The Con-Cure system paid for itself on the first job it was used on."

"We had no idea what maturity testing was all about when we first contacted Con-Cure.  We had just won a state bridge bid, and maturity testing was in the spec. Once we started using it, my whole perspective changed. It is now a mission-critical element of what we do. Here’s just one small way we have saved a lot of money: we discovered that we could get by purchasing fewer forms for a given project, because we could cycle forms so fast. For cold weather, it pays for itself many times over each season. The training they provided with our system made all the difference, by the way. Definitely consider that when ordering."

"Con-Cure has allowed us to save time on our concrete schedule due to knowing instantly when the concrete achieves its strength and not having to wait for a cylinder break.  This will be an integral part of any future post-tensioned concrete project due to the overall value it adds by allowing us to maintain an aggressive and constant schedule for pouring, stripping and stressing of post-tensioning cables associated with cast in place structural concrete"

"We couldn’t be more pleased with the Con-Cure System and your service. We were able to avoid a $400,000 penalty by finishing a major project on time, due in large part to maturity testing on the cast-in-place concrete. You helped us make up 2 critical weeks by not waiting longer than we had to before stressing and stripping."

"Not only has it saved us a ton of money in regards to heating costs, the Con-Cure system has saved us a lot of overtime pay, due to not having to cover concrete until the next morning.  Generally, we would stay after-hours to cover the concrete with blankets, but the system tells us that the slabs are still gaining strength and we don't need to cover them so early.  Due to the reading on the Con-Cure system, we are able to stress concrete in 2 days, versus the 3 days the cylinders were telling us, thus allowing us to strip forms sooner and move on with the project.  The readings we get with this system are much more reliable than the strengths we get from the cylinders."

"We have been utilizing the Con-Cure System for four years now. The ability to have real time information on the strength of the concrete at any given time or duration is a huge asset. On most projects we have shortened our schedule by at least one day per deck pour, allowing us to finish a project before the scheduled completion date. This has obvious benefits in overhead cost and the owner is always happy when a project comes in ahead of schedule. After we developed a better understanding of how concrete cures at different temperatures, we are now able to determine how long we need to utilize winter protection in cold weather applications to obtain the strengths we require. As schedules and budgets get shorter and tighter, I foresee us utilizing the Con-Cure System for years to come, to assist us in meeting these requirements."

"All contractors who are doing Post Tensioned Cast In Place concrete frames should definitely be using the Con-Cure System for maturity testing.   Under today's fast pace of construction projects, knowing precisely when you can stress Post Tensioned tendons and begin stripping formwork for cycles is not only necessary, but also a net cost savings for any contractor."

"The system is easy to use.  The data is great and puts you in the control of curing.  You no longer have to pour and hope that lab cylinders come up."

"The Con-Cure System has saved us money on the very first project that it was used on.  Knowing what the concrete PSI was told us we could stress our PT cables and turn the heat off on the underside.  I would recommend the Con-Cure System for anybody that is dealing with cold weather concrete.  This is a product that puts the contractor in charge of his or her project."
